HAMPTON - It appears New Hampshire is avoiding major problems from Hurricane Earl.

MANCHESTER - Residents of a three-story building at 346 S. Main St. lost everything in their apartments in a Thursday night fire that left the building so structurally damaged it is too dangerous for them to enter the building again. Manchester Fire Chief Jamie Burkush said the cause appears to be electrical in origin and is "absolutely not arson."
